Based in Hartford, CT, Carla Ten Eyck has been joyfully photographing weddings and events all over the world for the past twenty-three years. After receiving her BFA in Photojournalism from Rochester Institute of Technology, Carla worked at several newspapers and news agencies until her natural segue into weddings and events began.
Her love of weddings and events helped her co-author two beautiful coffee table books, The White Dress: In Color and The White Dress: Destinations.
A natural teacher, Carla also taught photography workshops from 2008 until 2013. She has spoken multiple times at the Engage! Luxury Wedding and Business Summits, and was a featured speaker at The Knot Pro in Boston.
Carla was a producer + speaker of the Inspire Photography Workshops from 2010 until 2015. Her clear love of community building and connection fuels her passion for NEEP with the NEEP board and its community.
As a Queer, Mexican American woman, inclusivity for Carla is personal, and she vows to make everyone feel included and welcome at each NEEP event!
Carla runs her business, Carla Ten Eyck Photography and currently lives in her childhood home in Hartford’s West End with her son Jackson, her daughter Georgie.

Rebecca is a floral designer and the creative force behind Red Fern Floral. With a degree in fine art, her passion for floral design focuses on combining her artistic background with the natural world to create stunning, one-of-a-kind arrangements.
She got her start in the wedding industry in 2014, and uses her 10 years of wedding knowledge to offer her couples a personalized experience in their floral design and day of coordinating services.
In 2025, Rebecca will take on the role of Director of Membership with NEEP, where she will lead efforts to expand and enhance community engagement, offering new opportunities for connection and growth.

Based in Windsor Locks, CT, Vanessa’s journey in weddings and event planning began when she was young. She grew up watching her mom create memories for others with a simple dinner or organize a unique outing. Those were the moments Vanessa realized she LOVED seeing how happy their guests were and how that one evening shaped their memories for years to come.

Based in Bristol, CT, Kelsey runs Isamay Designs, a custom wedding and event signage company with her husband CeeJay.
Kelsey is NEEP's Administrator and brings her incredibly robust and impressive technology skills to help us run so smoothly. Kelsey works for Disney in their IT department, and has worked for Apple.
Kelsey is one of the most organized, tech savvy people we have met, not to mention one of the absolute funniest!
Kelsey is currently enjoying time off on maternity leave, as she and CeeJay have just welcomed a baby boy to their family!

As a former NYC ad agency executive with 15 years of global media experience, turned marketing consultant, Carla Giorgio brings a unique perspective to the table. Her time in the fast-paced world of NYC advertising taught her how major brands operate, think strategically, and execute impactful campaigns. With expertise in Brand Strategy, Paid Media, and Project Management, Giorgio now leverages that “Big City” experience to help businesses thrive.
She is passionate about creating marketing strategies that aren’t just effective but meaningful— connecting brands to their
communities and fueling long-term growth. Her approach combines a keen eye for detail with a deep understanding of what drives consumer behavior, ensuring every strategy is both tailored and actionable.
She currently lives in West Hartford with her Golden Retriever, Mia, an avid romantasy and thriller reader, loves to travel, and spend time with her family.
I am best described as a Jersey girl mixed with a splash of Texas, a chaos coordinator, an eternal optimist, and a queen mediator. And still, wedding and event planning was a calling that I never saw coming.
I've always loved volunteering and giving my time to a good cause, so it wasn't unusual to find me on a gala board for a fundraiser at a university, hospital, or nonprofit while working full-time as a registered nurse.
From 2013 on, I worked alongside many wedding coordinators, planning events on a referral basis, not realizing THIS was what I was meant to do.
My calling became too loud to ignore after I had undergone treatment for breast cancer. I realized event planning was never about parties but about honoring fleeting moments in this short, precious life. So, in 2020, 1 started my own firm, Lovelace Design Wedding & Events.
It was my opportunity to share my gifts as well as my passion for giving back.
